Heeeeeeeeeeyyy...
So its been a while hasn't it? There've been so many events and so many insanely cool things and some not so cool things but blogging is what don't happen when you're busy living that crazy thing called life.
I've been meaning to write for ages but there never seems to be enough time or enough energy to sit down and really describe everything thats happened... Zane's not-so-surprise Birthday party... Our first christmas and Our first new year as a family... (hehe i have a family... well i always had a family didn't i - more like I MADE a family... well We made a family really... but u know i did most of the work n stuff hehehe...)
Anyway back to the point... the point is my mind works quite slowly these days and my body even more slowly hehe so ummm yeah what was the point again??
Hheehe a lot has happened that i should really write about things like
1. Zane's Birthday!
2. Christmas
3. New Year
4. The 9th of January
5. Tivianhs 6 month injections
and all the moments and mayhem in between
In reality this post will probably be boring and scattered and confused and completely lacking in all the WOWWWWWWWWWWWness of the actual events themselves... but maybe we should start with...

Well i've actually started the blog about Zanes birthday a couple o times and been interrupted by something or other, probably brain freeze coated by exhaustion moooshed in with layers of things i really should be doing but can't right now. Hehe...
So anyhoo where was i again... birthdays... Zanes surprise supercool eat/drink/be merry birthday was a good idea in theory... the theory being he would turn up to a surprise BBQ/supercool LAN party set up in complete secrecy by me, tivianh and a few select assistants... hehe but the reality turned out a little less super and a little less cool and a lot less of a surprise than the 'in Vien's Brilliant party planning mind' version.
....thanks to some confused party guests the surprise didnt turn out to be a surprise and since he knew about it Zane became an active participant in the planning....
Hehe which was lucky for us because our assistants didnt turn out to be very uhh assist-full... and i get tired real easily these days, Tivianh would have been a big help if her legs weren't so small and unsturdy... and if she wasnt like a baby n stuff...
Zane ended up cooking the bbq lol and setting up the LAN WHich i dont think he minded doing but at the end of the day i think he would have preferred a lil less work and a little more game playing... but it's the thought that counts rightt????? hehe well it seemed like a super cool idea at the time!!
Tivianh behaved like an angel in an assortment of Daddy centred outfits and the guests had a good time and the LAN room really did LOOK awesome!! Hehe but that was a while back and i cant remember the details so good anymore. I'm sure it was all rainbows and butterflies... hehe
Feels like we had about 2 hours after Zane's Birthday to rest before the Christmas Crazy started and between seaching for presents and working out what we were actually DOING everything kinda flew by in a whirrrrrrrrrrrrly twirly blurrness.
We still have a christmas tree in the corner with a buncha presents under it for Zane's family that we havent gotten around to sending yet!! (i know i know its terrible)... hehe but its a swell way to stretch christmas on for the kids... i'm sure Scotty and Jack will be stoked! Imagine mid-july when they're all awwww christmas is soooooooo faaaar away *BAM* a present arrives at the door and its christmas all over again. Horray us!
HEhehe lets hope they havent moved by the time we mail em!! hehe...
Anyway Christmas... with my kiddo and the Roast dinners i always dreamt about... hehe... well in my dreams i was kidless but still mmmm roast dinners.
Hehe so Christmas eve we spent over Dads place, just a nice small gathering around a Christmas tree piled with presents for the Kiddies... needless to say Tivianhs pile was a lot bigger than she is. Hehe... it was cool... we opened presents and gave presents and ate and generally had a merry umm christmas.
Mostly it was just nice to see my new family with my old family and it was esspecially cool to finally be able to thank Auntie Phuong and Uncle Mike Morris for their unwavering support and infinite affection over the past year. All the trouble hunting down a WII two days before christmas was well worth it! They've been awesome.
Hehe... Christmas Day followed with just a lazy day at home... daddy got bubba an ultra cool bear chair and Uncle Ewen made a giant roast turkey, followed by another yummy roast chicken and yeah... roasts are the bestestest.
Then along came New Year... which we spent at Dads again... just eating and hanging out with Auntie Vinnie and the Morrises... Zane made another roassssst yayyyyyyyyy hehe annnnndddd BUBBA had her first taste of mashed pumpkin!!
Hehe... yes our baby girl started on her solids and she's always pulling the coolest faces at the bizzarre flavours she's experiencing after the almost 6-months of just boobie juice.

hehe... yeah i shouldda just posted it half finished eh but i had grand ideas of adding pictures n you know... sturrrfff but looks like it's npt really gonna happen on account of - i'm lazy eh.
hehe well i'll stick this up and continue it some other time. Maybe in pictorial form instead hehe
