What day is this, and in what month

The kid’s almost 1.

She’s 10 months and 12 days old.

She never sleeps right through the night.

She yells and grabs at EVERYTHING.

She won’t drink formula milk out of a bottle.

If she’s in a good mood she shakes her head when she’s full, if she’s feeling naughty she spits it everywhere and whacks the spoon out of your hand.

She cries when you won’t let her play with your car keys. And she won’t stop crying because that would be showing signs of weakness.

She sniffles indignantly once she’s calmed down.

She can’t stay still.

She HATES taking naps.

She tries to crawl out of bed while she’s still asleep. Out of her chair while she’s eating, out of your arms while you’re walking…

She eats cardboard. And Dirt. And Grass. And the cotton fluff from her blanket.

She likes to stick her fingers up daddy’s nostril, and pull mummy’s hair.

She bites.
She squirms.

She frowns and narrows her eyes in a most serious manner.

She gets up waaaaay too early, especially (and I think on purpose), on our days off.

She always has food stains on her clothes.

And some kinda stain on her face, no matter how often you clean her.

Last week, she kicked a Rabbit.

But she smiles.

And everyone laughs.

She’s got one of those suspiciously innocent faces.

Made for mischief and escaping trouble.

She blows kisses and gives hugs… when you know- she’s not QUITE sorry.

She tries to run, when she can hardly stand… claps and cries all at the same time.

She growls at grandpa, and pats his head, knows he’ll give her anything she wants.

She loves the shower, the bath, the kitchen bin.

Nappy changes are the end of the world, because god forbid she has to stay still for a whole TWO MINUTES.

Sometimes she leans her head on your shoulder.

Puts her lips to your cheek.

Scrunches up her face and grins at you.

Waits for you to pretend to eat her, or drop her or tickle her.

And she laughs and laughs… and waits for you to do it again.

She hides under her towels and her blankets and her clothes, and smiles while she waits for you to find her.

She Smiles when she sneezes, smiles when she’s sleeping, screams crazily when she’s excited.... usually around Auntie Vy.

Some days she’s a little too noisy.

Always a little bit messy.

Sometimes a tiny bit shy.

And maybe a little bit naughty.

Some days we run from her.

Some days we find reasons to pass her back and forth.

Some days we beg her, for a little bit of sleep, for a rest, for a moment or two before we can catch up.

Most days, we find ourselves in these moments…

When we watch
And just wonder…

Where she came from

Who she’ll be

And how we ever lived without her.

T PARTY!!

HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEYYYYY Ebberybodeee! I is almost turned 1!!!

And and andddddddd Mummy n Daddy is making me a party! Mummy says i can start telling everbybody about it! because we starting to prepares now!

Is gonning to be a T party!

Everyone has to come in something or As something starting with T!

I is gonning to wear a TuTu! Like this one! cept mine is made by Nannnna all the way from New Zelind and she made me a Jacket tooo with sparklys and a hood coz is been colded lately! WOoooo!

And and and i gotta TIARA like this one but not zactly!

Mummy gotted me 3 tiaras one is just normal one and two has got fluffy fluff down the bottoms and one is Pink and one is white and they are all shiney with jools!

We's decideded we having a TREASURE hunt! And at the clues will lead to the TReasured Chest Pinata mummy gotted for me it'll be fulled of Treasures!!!

And we are going to make TUTU's and TIEs coz me and mummy know how to coz we gotted a book, the book is just for making TUTU's but mummy says we will just make up how to make Ties unless the boys all wants to maked Tutu's too! He he

Ethyn and Madelyn gotted Their Costumes already! ET is coming as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turdle and Maddie gotted a Terrific Tinkabell costume!

Arntie Vinnie says she comed as Taliban i dunno what dat is Mummy says is Tebbable.

We is making TERRRRIfYYing Tarantula CUPcakesssssssss!

ANd eating TAstey TOoOBs!

ANdddddd GettiNG TAtTTTTTtOoooos!

And Daddys is making me a Terrific Tent filled with TOYS!!!!

And arrrntieee Phuong Is making TUBS of TReaTs for everybody to take home!

and we plays TaCk the Tails on the TURTLE hehehehehee (Run Ethyn RUN!!!!!!!!!)

Theres Lotsssssssssssss more but so we is goning update this as we go and haves a TErrIIiiiFicaLLy terrrificks Time!

I gotta go have a naps now coz i's making a ruckus and can't sit still and mummy saided there is ants in my pants and sleeping is the only ways to get rid of them!!!

But but i gots to tell you one more thing!!!

Daddddy founded a Bunny in the yard and now we feeds it and it stays with us and i calls it BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA the BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARrrny!
